Playing Catch Up

I can't believe it is already September. Where does the time go?
A little too fast I think... School is back in session (for Trevor that is) and though we have added a few things to our list of things to do we haven't managed to remove any :s In fact we seem to add more... but all is well in the Heiner home and we are loving life! We will miss summer but with the cool crisp air, football season starting and the many things ahead we are excited for fall!

Here are a few things we have been up to...

We got to see the Stadium of Fire for the 4th of July

We hiked up to Stewart Falls

Had a great family trip in Mexico

Visited Chichen Itza
Went snorkeling
Trevor surprised me on my birthday--when we came back to our hotel room it was completely decorated with towel animals, balloons on the wall, chocolate strawberries and this chocolate cake. Apparently the spelling of my name got lost in translation... Burtundy :) It was a great surprise!
Parasailing

And bike riding. We had a great trip!
I quickly turned around and flew to New York for a business trip. We sponsored a blogger's conference that was going on there so I had to go to oversee the event.

Here is a look at our Sponsor Suite. We provided galvanic spa facials, other product demos and more. We had a great turn out and the event was a success!

Brick happened to be in New York the exact same week as me for business! What are the chances? It was nice to see a familiar face in the BIG city after traveling alone. Unfortunately, we both were so busy we only got to meet up once for dinner.
We got to have a fun weekend catching up with friends in St. George. I miss them already! Hopefully this turns into an annual tradition :)

Trevor's friend Wes got married and asked him to be a groomsman so we traveled up to Portland to be part of their beautiful wedding. Here we are at the wedding dinner in front of Lake Oswego--so gorgeous!

The Portland temple was beautiful as well.

We also visited the coast,
The rose gardens,
Powell Books (the largest independent book store in the world),

and the city!

We had a great time seeing Portland and spending time with friends and the Collett family!

Now on to BYU football....

Go Cougs!
