Oh the changes life will bring...

Isn’t it true that once you become comfortable with something or get to a point when you finally feel as though you have mastered the job-- things change?!  It’s inevitable, and yet some of the most defining moments in our lives come through those changes by making us better, stronger people.

We have had a few of those changes over the last few months…

While marriage would be considered one of the biggest changes we will make in our lives, it has definitely been one of the best changes and decisions we have ever made! We have been married for almost four months now and couldn’t be happier!

Trevor went on his very first rollercoaster ride at the New York, New York Hotel in Las Vegas!

Our [Simple Grace] first CD was released, our Web site was finished (simplegracemusic.com) and we have had some amazing opportunities including being interviewed on the radio and performing at girls camps, youth conferences and firesides.

After four years of intense study, long nights, grueling tests, group projects and long papers I finally graduated from BYU with a degree in Public Relations, Communications!

We traveled to Lake Tahoe for a ‘graduation celebration’ with Ryan and Ashlie!

Trevor finished off a great season in track, winning the Indoor Mountain West Conference Championship jumping 6’ 10.”

We made our first furniture purchase (after finding a great deal!)  J

Trevor started a new summer job, selling cell phones for T-Mobile in West Valley.  He uses his Spanish everyday and is a born salesman!

The Stadium of Fire is now in full force.  It’s Trevor’s first year seeing what I really do and realizing the time it takes to put on such a production.  Despite the long hours, constant phone calls and late meetings he is handling it quite well!

This past year I have been working as the Special Sections Coordinator for The Daily Universe at BYU producing the magazines that are put out by the paper.  I worked on two issues of The Bridal Guide, an issue of the Housing Guide and just finished my second issue of the New Student Orientation edition.  This has been a wonderful experience for me as I have been able to be involved in such things as interviewing President Bateman and his wife, organizing and coordinating photo shoots, improving my writing skills and working with wonderful people.

Now on to my next adventure…  interning at Nu Skin doing public relations and event planning!  Oh the changes life will bring!  Now it’s time to embrace it!
